Hands-On Procedures

 

The procedures may involve word-processing, creating a spreadsheet, creating a presentation, web-publishing, and so on. Here are just two sample computer procedures that you may be asked to perform during the final assessment. Please use the sample/ answer sheets as a guide when working on the procedures.

1. Word Processing and Web Publishing (20 points):

Save the Word document as a Web Page and publish/ copy it to your CSULB Internet account.  Use lab1.htm as the file name.

2. Spreadsheet (20 points): You are given a shopping list below and three coupons, 20% off, 2 for 1, and 10 dollars off.  Use the information on the sample
page to create a spreadsheet that calculates the best purchase price that you can have and print out two pages, that is, one answer sheet, and the other with the formula shown.
