My research focuses on the macroeconomic aspects of trade and growth. In particular, I explore (i) U.S. regional growth, (ii) returns to U.S. schooling, (iii) impact of regional trading arrangements on international trade and development and other areas. Although well-grounded in growth and trade theory, my research is largely empirical with use of panel data, time-series and Bayesian econometric techniques.

I have made available my state-level capital stock, bilateral regional trading arrangements and cross-country conflict data.
