This database provides journal articles from a wide variety of disciplines. Over 1,200 scholarly journals are included!  
Many types of sources are indexed.  To retrieve journals only limit search to Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals


ABC Clio Historical Databases

ABC Clio offers two excellent history databases which include scholarly journal articles: 
                  ••America History & Life
which covers the United States and Canada only
                  ••Historical Abstracts which covers everywhere in the world except the US and Canada.

TIP: These databases also index books, book chapters and dissertations.  Be sure to limit your search to "Articles."

 

These databases can be searched separately or simultaneously.  To search both America History and Life and Historical
Abstracts
together select "Choose Databases."  Check the additional databases that you wish to search.

Various descriptors are used to identity information about Asian Americans.  For example:  Asians Legal Status,  Chinese, Chinese Americans, Vietnamese Americans, Filipino Americans, Pilipinos, Japanese Americans, Cambodians, Cambodian Americans

When in doubt about what language to use in your search use the KEYWORD search function.
