House proposal to grant temporary legal status to millions of undocumented
immigrants.

This report, published in January 2006 by the UCLA Center for the Study of Urban
Poverty, profiles, for the first time, the national phenomenon of day labor in
the United States. This report analyzes data from the National Day Labor Survey,
