My name is Raul Reis and I'm a Journalism professor at Cal State Long Beach, in Southern California. I teach several skills and conceptual courses at CSULB, including Research Methods, Global News Media, Intro to Online Journalism, Writing for the Web, and Senior Seminar.
I also conduct research in several areas, such as how new technologies are affecting journalism, how immigrant communities use mass media, and different aspects of science journalism.
