Every summer, I take at least one group of CSULB students to Brazil. Once there, we have classes at the UFSC campus (a local university), and have a fun, intense, daily routine that includes cultural visits and other activities. These are pictures from past trips. Check out the “Floripa” pages for more pictures.

In 2009, we went to Belém, in the Brazilian Amazon. The course offered was JOUR 312-I Global News Media, which is a G.E. Capstone course. The class itself was three weeks long (from June 1-19), and we spent two of those weeks in Brazil. The topic of the class was “Scientific and Environmental Media”.
