Version 1.0 -- Revised 24-Mar-96

Submit Your Work by Electronic Mail (E-Mail)

To do this, you must have a class login account with a password, as distributed by your instructor.

Electronic Mail
Use this button to activate the electronic mailer. Note: At any time, you may use your mouse to drag the E-Mail window off the screen to view this page.

How to Complete the E-Mail Form

If your e-mail does not meet the following conditions, it will be rejected.
  1. Your Subject entry must contain three tokens:
  2. Your assignment must include clearly identified comments from your reviewer.
  3. All work (yours and your reviewer's) must be in a single file.
An example of such a Subject entry would be: b5 pae j6

You may use the cc field to send a copy of your mail to yourself as verification that your mail was sent.

If your browser's electronic mailer does not provide for Attachment files, you can use your computer's clipboard feature to copy and paste your work into the e-mail area.

When you have no further need to remain logged in, close the window to return to this page.

Document Files

If you are using the Windows or Macintosh version of Word 6.0, use the normal Save Document as Type: Word Document selection in your Save As... menu.

Your instructor uses Microsoft Word 6.0, which provides converters for the applications listed below. If you are using one of them, use one of the file formats listed as the Save Document as Type: selection in your Save As... menu.

If you need to send a document to your instructor from an application for which a listed file format is not available, save the document in the text-only format (also called plain-text or ASCII format) or, if available, in the Rich Text Format (RTF).

After conversion, you may wish to re-open the modified file in your word processor to note what features, if any, have been altered.
