...Active Learning

In this class you can expect to be an active participant in the learning process.  While familiar methodologies such as case analysis and lecture are used, you will be asked to engage in role playing, teaching, and problem solving.  You are on stage from the moment you enter class.  Question me, question your classmates, question yourself.  You will also to a degree be able to affect the direction the course takes.  For instance, I often begin class with a current article or audio topic (maybe Greenspan live online), or some other event that pertains to course themes of technology, innovation, and world markets.  You too are encouraged to use the beginning of (most) any class to introduce (verbally or online) topics, articles, or events that you believe are germane to the course or are just plain interesting.  But expect to be questioned and to teach us when necessary. You are also encouraged to use the e-discussion group, where you can respond to articles that I or others have posted or introduce an article of your own or draw from the many articles that I have linked to our syllabus. Enjoy. Come prepared.
