   Changes as of Fall 2003

**Major Application Procedure Changes**
Beginning Fall 2003:

If you have already been accepted to the major in Spring 2003 or earlier, this change will not apply to you.  But, if you are put on probation or disqualified you will be dropped from the major and will have only one more opportunity to apply.

You will be required to take (and pass with a grade of "D" or better) Psy 301 (Psychology as a Discipline and Profession) during your first semester as a major. If you don’t you will be dropped from the major, and will have only one more chance to apply again.

Students with 60+ units must have a major in order to register for the current and subsequent semesters' courses.  If you are still a pre-major with over 60 units and don’t qualify to apply yet, you should change over to another major that is not impacted.  This will only be a temporary change. Once you do qualify, you should apply to the major ASAP!
