2002-2003 Changes*

As of the Fall of 2001, all pre-psych majors have been required to be enrolled in Psy 301 "Psychology as a Profession and a Discipline" or to have completed it before applying to the major!!!!  In addition, Psy 110 has become a prerequisite for Psy 200.  (Beginning Fall 2002, Psy 210 was renumbered to Psy 110.)

Current requirements for application into the major are:

• Completion of or their equivalents (passed with a C or better)
      PSY 100
      PSY 110
      PSY 200

• Enrollment or Completion of PSY 301

• You must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and 56 units or more

*** Students with at least 56 semester units of college level work and a GPA between 2.00 and 2.49 will be admitted on a space-available basis ***
