Area of Interest: Social Psychology
Courses Taught: Social Psychology (Psy 351) and Research Methods (Psy 200)
Description of Research:
  1. Social psychology and social issues
  2. Antecedents and consequences of attribution of discrimination and collection action as a response to discrimination
  3. Coping with prejudice and other social issues.
Student Participation: 5-10 students, undergraduate or graduate students, and will only take undergraduate students for Psy 499 (independent study) units.
Requirements:
  1. Preferably have taken a course with Dr. Quinton
  2. Preferably students who have completed research methods (Psy 200) with a "B" or better
  3. Need to have at least 15 hours per week available between 9am-7pm (as a 499 student, you will not be scheduled more than 9 hours per week)
Participation Descriptions:
  1.  Data entry and management
  2. Serving as an experimenter or confederate
  3. Calling participants
  4. Attending lab meetings
