Description of Research: |
- Research in the area of displaced
aggression attempts to explain situations in daily life in which
retaliatory aggressive responses to a mild provocation often
inappropriately exceed that expected from a tit-for-tat matching rule.
- I have also developed a new
theoretical and empirical program of research that evaluates
evolutionary approaches in explaining human behavior with a particular
focus on gender differences and matching strategies.
