William Kelemen, Ph.D.

Area of Interest: Metacognition, Drug effects on cognition, and prospective memory.
Courses Taught: Introductory Psychology (Psy 100), Research Methods (Psy 200), and Cognition (Psy 332)
Description of Research: Factors that influence monitoring and control of cognition (including mild stimulants, such as caffeine and nicotine).  Also subjects ability to remember to perform certain actions (prospective memory).
Student Participations: Will work with undergraduates and good students.  Willing to offer Psy 499 (independent study) units.  Number of students needed varies.
Requirements:
  1. Should have 5-10 hours per week available
  2. Should have completed Psy 200 with a "B" or better and be at least enrolled in Psy 332.
  3. Computer skills (IBM) required.
  4. Preferred students have taken 1 or more courses with Dr. Keleman
Participation Descriptions:
  1. Run subjects.
  2. Data analysis.
  3. Library work.
Semester Needed: Spring 2005.
