Dr. Sherry Span with Marsha SargeantPsych Day 2005
Tuesday, April 19th

All of the Psychology Department student organizations work together to plan activities for "Psych Day," an annual event held during the spring semester to generate and foster student enthusiasm for Psychology.  Recent years' activities have included Poster Contests, guest lectures, workshops, graduate school fairs and games.

This year's activities included the Psi Chi Student Research Poster Fair.  Photos of individual posters may be viewed by clicking here.

Other activities included games (Jeopardy! and Wheel of Freud), workshops ("Faculty Research Interests," "Applying to Grad School" and "Job Opportunities with a BA in Psych"), bake sale and the Graduate School Fair.  Event photos may be viewed by clicking here.

This year's speaker was Dr. James McGaugh ("Emotion and Memory").
