PERSONAL INFORMATION
When I am not scheming a written test for an unsuspecting candidate (kidding, of course … sort of), I am spending my time with my wife and our beautiful baby boy, Harpo, our Golden Retriever.  And before you start guessing how he got his name … Harpo is named after one of the famous Marx Brothers (the others being Groucho, Chico, Zeppo, and Gummo), NOT after Oprah Winfrey’s production company.  For about two years, I have been studying Aikido, a traditional Japanese martial art and form of self defense that focuses on unifying mind, body, and spirit and harmonizing one’s energy with the energy of the universe.  Other than that, I am a huge UCLA fan, especially UCLA football, and I enjoy reading, playing the piano, listening to music (especially jazz), watching stand-up comedy, traveling, and being in the outdoors.
