For all questions, your answer should be in your own words in paragraph form, i.e. comprised of at least several sentences.  Please number the question you are answering and make a separate paragraph for each question.

1. What is an MFT? What does an MFT do? Where do most MFTs work?  (3 pts.)
2. What training is required for the MFT?  (2 pts.)    Where is it possible to obtain training in the southern California area? ( Name five or six locations in the area. )  (3 pts.)   What training is offered at CSULB? Once on the CSULB training link to the Educational Psychology Department, click on the drop-down menu for academic programs and select counseling.  (2 pts.)
3. Select two of the training programs in the area and compare and contrast them.  What elements of the programs are similar?  How do they differ?  Hint:  The links provided by the bbs website above, go to the school's website, not directly to the description of the MFT program.  Thus you will have to search the school site for the specific information you want.  Typically you would look for academic programs, graduate level, counseling programs in either psychology or education.  Then you may find the description you are seeking.
