Edelweiss from an Automaten
I get somewhat bored with all of these erudite articles about beer, especially
my own, even though most of you will question if my articles are really
"erudite." Hence, it's time for a change, and attempt to get an
Edelweiss from an "Automaten," especially since you just found
"Andrea Suds" drinking a Weißbier in Munich (see Weißer
Loewe). It's not impossible in Germany and Austria to at least get a beer
in a can from an automat, but I don't recommend that you attempt to set
up such an automat in the U.S. However, Nancy did it, and if you know Nancy,
you will agree that only she could accomplish that feat with hands only.
The bavarian dirndl obviously did the trick. A picture tells the whole story,
and the truth!
I'm sure glad that she didn't push the ice button first; it would simply
have ruined the head!
