Soloist, recitalist, concertmaster and teacher, Phillip Levy has performed throughout Europe, Israel, Asia and the US. For eight years he held a Senior Lectureship in violin and chamber music at Stanford University and lead the Stanford String Quartet.

A recipient of several international awards and prizes, Mr. Levy has been a member and soloist with the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields and English Chamber Orchestras. His collaborations include Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Rudolf Serkin, lona Brown, Ralf Gothoni and John O'Connor.

He has recorded for several labels and appeared as a soloist on BBC radio and television, National Public Radio and the Israel Broadcast Authority. He has served as concertmaster for the Monterey and San Jose Symphony orchestras. In demand as a violin and chamber music coach, Mr. Levy has both taught and performed at festivals worldwide including Spoleto, Bayreuth, Edinburgh, Israel, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seattle Ojai and Aspen. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he is a faculty member at California State University, Long Beach and Santa Monica College.
