Development of web-based self-access tutorial program for learners of  Japanese as a foreign language.

Development of Web-based katakana mnemonic cards and exercises for young learners of Japanese as a heritage or a foreign  language. (First set of the exercise was completed and uploaded 
 to the web in August, 2000)

Development of computer-based Japanese placement  test. . Joint         project of Department of Applied Linguistics and TESL, Japanese and Korean programs in East Asian Languages & Cultures at University of California, Los Angeles.  Funded by Dean’s office, University of California, Los Angeles.  (Prototype test, a goal of the first year, was completed in April, 2000).
