PROJECT OPTION

If you chose the Project Option:

• You must have a GPA of at least 3.3.
• You will need to find a CECS Faculty member who is willing to serve as your project advisor.
• You must take 3 units of CECS 697.
• You will need to Advance to Candidacy before you enroll in CECS 697.
• You will need to have your written project proposal approved by the Graduate Curriculum Committee. (See the Links & Forms page on this website for the Thesis or Project Proposal form.)
• You will need to give an Oral Defense to the Graduate Curriculum Committee.
• You will need to write and format your project according to the University Library guidelines.
• You will need to complete your project following the University Library deadlines.

NOTE: We estimate that the Project will take approximately 1-½ semesters to complete.
