OTHER INTERESTING SITES FOR YOU TO VISIT

This site has links to many interesting and useful sites. Some are science content related sites and some are teaching related sites. You will undoubtedly come across some great sites that are not on this page. Please feel free to share them with me in class or via e-mail and I will add them to the list. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list but it is a good starting point.

Simply click on the topics that interest you and you will find a list of websites related to that topic.  Don't forget that there is a link to state & national science standards, teaching standards and science teacher organizations from my home page.

Have fun! Let me know when you find sites that you want added to this list and I will include them.

This link will also connect you to several sites that have teacher created lesson plans, websites with children's stories and reviews of children's literature. Once you've developed lessons you need to know if students have learned anything. That's where assessment comes in. Learn about alternative assessment and rubrics (scoring guides).
