Kid Related Sites
The website I used the most when searching for kid related things was http://www.yahooligans.com. This site provides links to
different subject areas and searches for kid related web pages.  If you type in a specific topic, it will try and search the web for
kids websites only.  This was the only resource I used when searching for kids sites.

I found two particular sites to be awesome resources for teachers and  students.
Teachers:
http://education.nasa.gov  lesson plans, news, educational contacts, etc.

Students:
http://amazing-space.stsci.edu   online activities, quick facts, lessons, tools
The second one is definately one that should be checked out by anyone interested in astronomy!

This one has tons of information regarding environmental ecology.

This site has tons of lesson plans for all grade levels.  Some even have other states standards.

This is a website for a catalog of environmental education supplies.  They are opening a store in Tustin on November 15.  They carry lots of books,
including children's books and curriculum guides, outdoor education supplies (bug boxes, magnifying glasses), and really nice puppets.  I have
ordered from this company for the past 8 years.  The staff is always friendly and helpful.
