Welcome to my home
page. I am an associate professor and Department Chair of Science Education
at Cal State Long Beach . I teach classes for prospective K-12 science
teachers and graduate students earning their Master's in Science Education.
I am also involved in a variety of projects. From this site you can access
information about my classes, research projects, our department, and websites
of interest to science teachers.

Find syllabi, assignments
and supplementary materials for my courses. Please note that several courses
have a related Beachboard site. Those sites are only accessible
to students enrolled in the course. Students should be aware of information
on both the website and the Beachboard site.

of Future Science Educators This club meets monthly with topics
ranging from science and literacy to getting hired to exploring science
resources. In addition to club information this site has a calendar of
