1. Seven library media classes will be completed at CSULB, or equivalent classes can be transferred to CSULB from another Credential or MLS program. Each class meets up to six Saturday, 8:30-5:00 pm; the remaining time, work is done online.

2. A curriculum design and development class (EDP 677 or EDCI 625) isrequired, or equivalent classes can be transferred to CSULB from another university.
3. The final class, LI 580-Field Experience (4 units) can be scheduled in schools near the student’s home.
4. Starting fall 2001 library media teacher program courses have
been offered in the San Fernando Valley as well as Long Beach. Students
may earn their credential at either site to a large extent.
