Equipment and Facilites

The Archaeology Program has " state of the art" equipment for use by students and for faculty research. This equipment is used for several types of research including: archaeological field survey and excavation work, geophysics, ICP-MS analytical methods (digestion and laser ablation), archaeological mapping, archaeological photography, computer applications in archaeology (hardware and software), climatic reconstructions, flotation, GPS, Remote Sensing and GIS.The Archaeology Program has "state of the art" equipment for student use, teaching and faculty research.
