Climatic Reconstructions

The archaeology program also maintains access to a wide variety of climatic data, particularly tree-ring data that have been accumulated over a thirty-year period. This information provides students with material to investigate climatic change for many regions in the Western United States. The information is stored on computer tapes and hard drives for statistical analysis of this issue.
