The Physical Education Program at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is based upon the strong conviction that all teachers of Physical Education in grades K – 12 should understand the importance of physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and they should understand its power to do the same for the very diverse students in the California public schools. The program strives to attract and prepare high quality university students who reflect the cultural diversity of California's population. Students completing the CSULB preparation program will complete a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education with emphasis in one of the following options: Adapted Physical Education, Elementary School Physical Education or Secondary School Physical Education.
