Fall 2009: PHIL 489-01: PHILOSOPHY PRELAW INTERNSHIP (3-6 units) (#8512)
Volunteer internship with private organization or governmental agency with law-related focus. 50 hours of volunteer service is required for each academic unit. You will also write a mid-term and final report that identifies ethical issues in the workplace and reflects on them using your philosophical coursework.

PRE-REQUISITES: completion of 15 upper-division units for the Philosophy major. Senior standing strongly recommended. Consent of instructor and department chair is required. Arrangements for the internship must be made with the Philosophy Pre-Law Advisor BEFORE the start of classes.
