Bonnie Auyeung: ÝMy career goals are currently within the field of autism research.  I hope to one day be a professor as well as a researcher and clinician.  Currently I am working on my senior thesis which investigates the various methods that children use to cope with stress.  COR has been an instrumental part of my personal as well as my academic life and development.

Talitha Bell:  I am a Psychology major minoring in Black Studies. My main interest lies in mental health and identity development and the development of psychopathology. I plan to get a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, specializing in forensic psychology. My goal this year is to master the "shimmy sham" in my beginning tap class at CSULB.

Gerald Ontiveros: I am interested in cognition, especially in factors affecting memory.

 Dipti Shah: I am in social psychology and study the role of stereotypes on attitudes.

April Thames: My current research interests are in clinical neuropsychological disorders such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. I would like to understand the neural systems that are correlated with manifestation of these disorders. I plan to pursue a Ph.D in Psychology with a specialization in Behavioral Neuroscience.Ý My current research is in the area of social-community psychology examining factors that can deter delinquency among adolescents. My hobbies are exercising and spending time with family and friends.

Lorraine Nibut

ÝI am a Psychology major with a minor in Criminal Justice, but I like to integrate many different disciplines with my research. My interest is community psychology.Ý I am currently working on an independent project that looks at womenís utilization rates of domestic violence shelters in the city of Long Beach.Ý During the rare occasions that I am not in school I enjoy being in the great outdoors.Ý I also enjoy participating or watching any form of performing arts.

 

Marisela Rodriquez:  I am planing to pursue a career in school psychology. I am particularly interested in memory and cognition. I am also very passionate about music and literature.

Tamara Sakazaki: I am planning to pursue a Ph.D in Counseling Psychology. I am interested in the family enviornment and interpersonal relationships.

Stephanie Nguyen: My research interests lie in cultural differences as it pertains to relational aggression. I plan on continuing my education in grad school in order to pursue a career in School Psychology.
