When should I file a "Grad Check"???

Minimum requirements to file a "Grad Check"

  1. Have 90 semester units including work in progress
  2. Have taken the Writing Proficiency Exam (WPE)

Also consider: When will you finish all requirements and have at least 124 semester units?

How do I file a "Grad Check"???

 

 Step 1

Go to the undergraduate advisor for your major and have your Program Planner prepared.

Dr. Wang does this for all Criminal Justice majors.

Step 2

Complete "Request to Graduate."

Fee is $37. Add $10 if filing after deadline.

 Step 3

Go to Brotman Hall Window 101 Enrollment Services.

Pay fee and turn in "Request to Graduate" and "Program Planner."

Make sure you keep the receipt.

Note: You can NOT file a "Grad Check" during the semester in which you graduate. If you wait this long

your graduation date will be automatically moved to the next available date.

For example,

if you wait until February 2003 to file for May 2003 graduation,

your diploma will indicate you graduated from summer school in August 2003.
