To Interested Applicants of the Call for Ideas:

Cal State Long Beach has been a leading force among California's universities in building a sustainable campus. The Student Sustainability Task Force, a multi-disciplinary organization aimed at developing environmentally friendly ideas for a sustainable Long Beach, wants to continue this energy by incorporating CSULB student ideas. In collaboration with the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden, SSTF is looking for student-generated innovations and designs from all departments to exhibit at the Green Generation Expo on May 4.

The deadline for all applications is April 4. Students are eligible to compete for prizes in categories that include water conservation, sustainable transportation and food systems, among others. Please download the application for more information on how to submit your green idea.

Thank you,
Student Sustainability Task Force
