A WORD FROM HENRI:
Like all vacations, you always wonder where the time went.
These 10 days just flew by. I'm sure we all have very
good memories. I was glad that the students and parents
enjoyed the trip so much. Two that really stick out in my
mind were the following:
After the Limerick International Marching Band Parade all
groups went to King John's Castle. While they tabulated the
results, every band played a song. When it came our time,
the band played our "Fight Song" like never before. I
looked around and saw everybody clapping to the beat. What
a festive atmosphere. Then when they announced that
Kennedy had won the overall award, the students and parents
alike went into sheer pandemonium.
My other memory is the time spent with Bob Anthony, Joe
Dudek, Mitch Olson, Matt Provino and Josh Parsons. We had a
lot of fun together. Plus we'd always have a special ice
cream bar pretty much everyday called the Magnum.

UPDATE ON LAUREN CALDARERA:
Lauren was released from the Dublin Hospital yesterday. I'd
like to thank the hospital staff that was instrumental in
bringing Lauren back to traveling health. Plus Hap and Cody
Kellogg who provided round the clock support for Lauren.
Lauren along with Hap and Cody Kellogg boarded a British
Midlands flight to London yesterday. Our London Tour
Operator got them a triple room in a 5-star hotel for a
very affordable rate near Heathrow Airport. They are
flying back today to the states. All of us wish the best
for Lauren and a speedy recovery to 100% health here in
California under her own doctor's care.

TRAVELING SHIRTS:
I'd like to offer parents and family members that wanted a
Ireland-England Tour 2004 Polo Shirt a chance to buy one
before the mode is broken forever. We have to have a
minimum order of 12 polo shirts or it's not cost effective.
The price of the shirt will depend upon the total order.
It would be in the same range most likely as our regular
polo spirit shirts which is around $16-$17. If you would
like one, please email back with your name, phone number,
quantity and sizes needed. The sizes we can offer are
small, medium, large, x-large-xx-large and xxx-large.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO DAVID CARTON:
David was our land based tour operator in Ireland. He was
a class act in every sense of the word. Every aspect of
Ireland portion of our trip was spectacular. The choice of
hotels, meals provided, Cronin Coaches with their fantastic
Irish drivers and sightseeing to last a lifetime. I feel
honored to have met him and to be around a person so
dedicated to his work. His first thought was always the
comfort of the group. He worried about the smallest of
details and made it so special for all of the students and
adults.

Fed Ex - You'll Forever be in our Hearts:
I sent an email to all of the Fed Ex personnel that were on
the various emails over the past couple of weeks. I wanted
to thank them so much "doing the impossible". I received
the following email from Martin Liptrot the Managing
Director of Fed Ex Global Communications.
Henri,
On behalf of everyone at Fed Ex, allow me to add our
congratulations on your successes in Limerick and Dublin.
Fed Ex is a company dedicated to making people's visions
come true - whether it is a start up business entering the
global marketplace, a must have mail order gift for a
family member or helping 100+ kids have the band trip of a
lifetime.
We are delighted that our contribution to your students'
trip enabled them to achieve their goal.
Send our best wishes to your student who is unwell and we
hope she has a speedy recovery and gets back to LA quickly.
Our team enjoyed being a part of this adventure and wish
you all continued success.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
I'll be scheduling a big picture party in 3-4 weeks. This
will give everybody time to develop the still pictures they
took on the trip. Any extra pictures that you all have we
can put on the table and let everybody get a good selection
for himself or herself. I know I had the best intentions
to take a lot of pictures but like in Australia in 2000, I
found myself too busy to worry about getting all of the
pictures I would have wanted.
It will be a chance to get everybody together to talk over
the good times of a memorable trip.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
IRELAND-ENGLAND VIDEO:
I will be contacting this week everybody that took videos
on the trip. I'd like to get a copy of everybody's
filming. Working with a professional we'll be putting
together a very special remembrance of this trip. The plan
is to have it both on VHS and DVD. Details to follow.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
SHOW ME THE MONEY:
$100 US Dollars = $52 Pound Sterling (Great Britain)
$100 US Dollars = $78 Euro (Ireland)
Rate valid as of: 03/23/2004
Currency conversions are based on Yahoo and CNN Currency
Conversion data. They are wholesale rates. I've adjusted
the rates for what you'd likely pay which would be the
retail rate. I assumed a 4% increase. But to be honest
retail is whatever the market will bare.
I would like to thank the Bank of America for their
participation. For the student and adults they exchanged
almost $38,000 into Euros and Pound Sterling.
