General Guidelines

Your written report should include all the materials you have prepared for in-class presentations -- Table of Demographic Measures, Population Pyramid, Maps and graphs on Migration.

SUMMARIZE the current population situation in your country.

Is it experiencing growth? Decline?
How does your country compare to others (world-wide, regionally)?
What are the likely future trends (doubling time, aging)?
Are there special circumstances that impact the population (war, famine, economy)?

What is the role of migration today?

Net migration -- In or out?
Where do migrants go? Come from?
Are there special problems created by migration?

Migration to America?

Has there been much immigration from your country?
If so, When? Where?

Include a cover sheet with TITLE (NOT "Assignment One ... " ) , NAME, and ID Number.

Include a BIBLIOGRAPHY of sources cited :-D
