Working in Teams

•  You should have already developed a "description" of the  THREE  Census Tracts  as "Neighborhood Demographic Profles"

Using the Population Pyramid and Demographic Data for each Neighborhood :
• Formulating an "Image" of each Neighborhood
• Predicting what the social and housing conditions of the area might be like

• Visit the Neighborhoods as a team!
• "Document" your personal observations and on-site impressions
• Capture real, visual images of the actual conditions
• Identify themes for comparison with your prior "data profile" of the place (Which aspects were correctly predicted, which not?)

•  Present your Findings (in lieu of Final Examination)
• Use maps, charts, graphs, and other visual aids as appropriate
• Prepare a 10 minute in-class presentation of your findings
• Turn IN a "folder" of Team Info (Presentation copies, Powerpoint Disk, Population Pyramids of all team-member's tracts, any handouts and / or other materials as appropriate.)
