This easy-to-do and quick workout will help you analyze compound nouns.
The compounds below are composed of some of the more common German roots.
Learning these roots will help you acquire a basic German vocabulary.

• Begin by dragging the German compound noun from the first column on the left into the correct slot in the second column.
  The dragged compound noun will remain fixed if you've chosen the correct slot.
  The cursor will then jump to the third column.

• In the third column slot, separate the word into its components using a plus (+) sign.
  Please take care to capitalize each component.
  Correct answers will turn green and take you to the the next slot automatically.
