| WORKOUT Grammar 2: Nouns |
| Station 3 |
Below you
see a list of German nouns probably unfamiliar to you.
How would you look up one of them in a dictionary?
You must determine the singular form. But how can you do that? Easy!
First, in your mind, cross out the ending and
then transform the umlaut back to the non-umlaut vowel in the plural form.
What remains should be the singular form.
Please type the German singular form in the box.
You
don't even have to know the articles, that is, the genders of the nouns,
because we've already listed them.
Correct answers will turn green and automatically
take you to the next box.
Have
fun!
