In the following activity you'll see how easy recognizing nouns in German texts can be.

  • Read the text and highlight all nouns by clicking on them.
  • If your guess is right, the color of the noun will turn green.

Ignore the first word of every sentence. That way, you won't get confused by articles, pronouns, etc., all of which are capitalized when they stand at the beginning of a new sentence.
