Business Spanish
Spanish 335A and 335B
Prepare for bilingual and bicultural employment opportunities in one
or both courses of Business Spanish, 335A and 335B. Students from Spanish,
International Business, International Relations, Chicano/Latino Studies
are especially encouraged to enroll.
Learn to:
- Produce commercial documents
- Apply for employment
- Interview for a job
- Master commercial vocabulary
- Move comfortably in a business environment in the Spanish-speaking
world.
You will be preparing as well to take the EXIGE exam, administered through
the internationally recognized CIBER center at SDSU, attesting to your
abilities in Business Spanish. The test is offered periodically through
the Department, at a cost of $75.00. Upon successful passage, the student
receives a certificate approved by the San Diego World Trade Center.
Language ability:
It is strongly suggested that a student have taken Spanish 312/313
or received a 4 or 5 on the AP Spanish exam. Other students with strong
language ability should consult with the professor about enrolling.

- Management
- Banking and Accounting
- Real Estate and Equipment
- Human Relations and Labor Relations
- Goods and Services
- Marketing: Marketing and Publicity
- Buying and Selling, Transportation, Warehousing
- Finances
- Entrance into International Markets
- Imports and Exports
Each of the Spanish speaking countries will be presented along
with business concepts.
Spanish 335A and B fulfill two requirements on the General Spanish
Majors.
