Has published on 19th and 20th Century Russian Literature, including
Tolstoy, Turgenev, Chekhov, Nagibin. Has also written on Russian
language topics such as case usage and root productivity. Currently,
working on a study of Tolstoy's anti-clerical attitudes as seen in his
fiction. Involved in Russian Program Endowment and annual Russian
concert fundraiser.
