PERSONAL PROFILE

Extensive Teaching experience both at a graduate and undergraduate level of Literary Theory, Italian Language and Literature, Film, Comparative Literature and International Issues. Directed several MA and Ph.D. Thesis in Italian, Comparative Literature and Film Theory.

Administration, program planning & evaluation and fund raising. Close working contacts with Academic Institutions in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership and persuasiveness qualities, ability to relate to a wide range of people, courtesy, tact and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds, strong problem solving, analytic and diagnostic skills, organizing skills, initiative and drive, team working, high standards of achievement. Knowledge of issues concerning human rights, racism and cultural difference. Media Liaison experience, several TV interviews on international issues by Italian and Foreign televisions: RAI, PPS, CBS, Saudi Arabia Television. Close working contacts with Media Operators, Diplomatic Representatives in Italy, with NGO's, with Government officials in Italy, in the United States and third world countries.
