EDX of Thorium Particles in Nephrocytes (f)

Elemental X-ray spectra derived from the analysis of the electron dense 
aggregates in the vacuole shown in figure 5.39b (figure 5.39e) and the adjacent 
cytoplasm of the cell extension (figure 5.39f).  The aggregates show multiple 
peaks for thorium.  Peaks for copper, chromium and zinc are derived from the 
specimen support grid and the instrument.
