Primary sources in government
documents are original
documents or data. They can be the official publications of a
sovereign nation. A few examples of primary materials include:
text of documents, testimony, hearings, diaries, personal narratives,
autobiographies, biographies, letters, and interviews.
Where to Find Government Documents?
There are a tremendous number of government documents to be found in Google.com Here are some techniques to find them. 1. Enter single word, or to find phrases, enter topic in "quotes." That way the words will be found next to each other.
2. Enter single word, or if phrases, enter topic "in quotes" that relate to immigration.
3. Select the government domain of the 'net by entering SITE:GOV This will limit your search to government sites. Putting it all together, your google search might look like this.
