- The weekday issue of the New York Times contains more information than
the average person came across in a lifetime in the 1600’s.
- November 2000, there were 26,161,187 web pages … by November 2004, there
were 44,158,128 web pages.
- In 2002, it was reported that five exabytes of information were
generated … the equivalent of a half-million new libraries the size of
the Library of Congress … the largest library in the world with nearly
128 million items on approximately 530 miles of bookshelves.
