- Download your grades (in excel).
- Quiz (Nov. 15th, 2004): Could we reduce attention disorder using a combination of Retilan (a drug at different dosages, low, medium, high) and two different kinds of therapies (B and C)? Response factor: rate of out-of-sit behavior in the office per 8 hours. Questions to answer (download Minitab file or Excel file) (a) Do the data meet the homogeneous variances assumption? (b) What is the best combination of treatment levels to reduce attention disorder? (2-way ANOVA, plot of interaction effects, Tukey-tests)
- Quiz (Nov. 22nd, 2004): We hypothesize that when plants are grown at high densities, they respond by producing smaller seeds. With the following dataset (download Minitab file or Excel file), please answer the following questions: 1- What are the dependent and independent factors? 2- Plot the relationship between plant density and seed weight 3- Has more variance been accounted for by plant density than expected by chance? 4- Is the slope significantly different from 0? 5- Write up the model that best fits the observed data. 6- What is the meaning of the R2 obtained in this regression analysis?
