Concerto Contest Winners?

The LBHQ is proud to announce that we were the first ever recipients of the Concerto Contest Director’s Discretionary Award. This coveted prize is likely never to be awarded again making it yet another milestone that the LBHQ has achieved in their time together.

We performed the Konzertstuck by Robert Schumann with our high note specialist Ben Randall leading the way. Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out and hear us. An extra special thank you to our horn instructor, Jim Atkinson who coached us and continues to bestow his invaluable advice upon us.

LBHQ Recital

Following a spectacular year together we are planning our first ever solo recital. Selections will include the Entrance Fanfare by Robert Dickow, I've Got Rhythm arranged by Marvin Yates and Casbah of Tetouan by Kerry Turner. Check back for more details as the yet to be announced date approaches. Advance ticket sales will not begin until October 27th.
