Objective:
This course covers methodological issues involved in graduate theatre research;
bibliographical studies and library research; web-based research; study
and critical evolution of research; methods in the development of research
as related to the theatre artist. It also covers typical graduate student
issues such as dealing with the pressures of graduate school.
Requirements:
The student will attend all the classes and complete the projects. Projects
turned in after the due date will not be accepted unless for compelling
reasons. Project dates are subject to change.
Grades:
The student will be evaluated by the following:
Attendance: 25%
Web Research Project: 25%
Class Participation: 25%
Final Research Project: 25%
Projects must be type written and may be e-mailed directly to the professor.
