Objective:
This is an introductory course in the art and craft of website design. The students will create his/own personal website, and learn techniques in displaying their work on the web and other media. The final project for this class is to create two websites for the Department of Theatre Arts.


Requirements:
The student will purchase Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX.
The student is expected to attend all classes. If the student misses more than three classes with unexcused absences, his/her grade will be lowered one step from the final evaluated grade for each additional day missed. An excused absence is defined in the CSULB University Catalog.
Projects turned in after the due date will not be accepted unless for compelling reasons.
Exam and project dates are subject to change.


Evaluations:
The student will be evaluated by the following:
Website Project: 30%
Final Project: 30%
Class Participation: 30%
Attendance: 10%
