It seems like everyone these days either sports custom wheels or will soon. Thank god those lame spinner rims went out of style! I seriously think the rappers really got the whole wheel and dub wheels thing going, I don't really remember it being such a fad until all those videos started coming out on MTV.
Personally I prefer chrome wheels over the painted or matte finish type custom wheels. When shopping for wheels there is much to know before selecting a style. You need to make sure the wheel will fit on your car and not adversely affect performance. Sometime wheels can be simply TOO big, bigger is not always better. Bigger wheels usually means more weight and can affect brake performance and cornering performance, not to mention ride harshness. Be smart and call the seller with any and all questions.

I bought some custom rims for my Mustang, it really made a difference in the appearance. My Mustang is black with chrome trim, so the chrome wheels I got really put it all together. I also had the cars windows . So in conclusion, pull the trigger and get some custom rims! Be prepared to pay some money, but it's worth it!
