The Myrmidons are a Thracian tribe. They live in Thessaly, especially in the city of
Phthia, where Peleus and Achilles live. Neither Peleus nor Achilles was an actual
Myrmidon. Peleus was from Aegina originally, then went to live in Phthia. Achilles is a
Phthian.

Achilles fought on the Achaean side in the Trojan War. When Achilles was 15 years
old, Agamemnon named him Admiral of the entire Fleet going to Troy.

He was eromenos of Patroclus.
