"Molecular Models" by Dave Woodcock, is a fantastic site.

Here can be viewed 3D models in full rotation showng the construction of complicated molecules like DNA and proteins as well as simple moelcules like water.
To view the images a plugin called "MDL CHIMES" is required. Chimes is compatible with Netscape and MIE, but will work wih Firefox, but automatically. (contact me an I will ecplain how to configure Chimes in Firefox). Chimes can be downloaded and installed from

After logging in, chose "select a product"
Choose: MDL Chimes
Download MDL Chime 2.6 SP6 for Windows or scroll down for other platforms.
After downloading, RUN the install program. Choose MIE (does not work well with Netscape 4 or above, but is OK in Netscape 2.xx.

It will run in FireFox, but you have to manually copy files from

C:\program files
Internet Explorer
PLUGINS
All the chimes files (4)

Copy thes 4 files to Program Files
Mozilla Firefox
plugins
Reboot...
Chimes is now fnctional in Firefox.
